This is a vital role in our organization, the Classroom Opener is the first face that parents and students see when they start their day at Honey Grove! This person must be energetic, welcoming, and a multi-tasker! Between 6:30 - 8:00 am you will be welcoming parents and students comforting children as needed, engaging and overseeing play, and serving breakfast to the students who want it between 7:00-8:00am. The Lead Teachers arrive between 7:30 - 8:00am, at that time you can expect to assist in activities planned by the Lead Teacher and run some "behind the scenes" activities that help the classroom run smoothly while the Lead Teacher plans, prepares, and executes lesson. Some important behind the scenes activities include preparing meals and snacks, cleaning up after meals, snacks and activities, and diaper changing or assisting in the bathroom.
