About The Position

Requirements

• As an entry level position, the ideal candidate for this position will have their High School Diploma or GED, flexibility for scheduling purposes, great written and verbal communication skills, and a passion for helping children unlock their true potential.
• Must be able to pass background check!!
• Must be able to relate well to parents, children and other staff members.
• Must communicate effectively, have an energetic personality and be functionally literate in English.
• Must have good attendance possess organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize.
• Attends and participates in staff meetings, training sessions, and academy events as requested.

Nice To Haves

• Experience at a licensed childcare center is preferred but not required. We will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work within the hours of 6:30am - 7:30pm.
• Must be able to relate well to parents, children and other staff members.
• Must possess organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize.
• Must be versatile and able to relate to all age groups.
• Attends and participates in staff meetings, training sessions, and academy events as requested.
• Must be a team player
• Assist Teacher and assistants with daily activity.
• Complete chores relevant to cleaning and laundry.
• Physical ability to remain on feet for extended periods of time.
• Must have reliable and predictable attendance.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Physical agility to bend, stoop, walk, reach overhead, push/pull, squat, twist, and turn.
• Must successfully complete a health screening and provide proof of the absence of TB no later than 14 days following the date of hire.
