About The Position

The Classroom Composition Facilitator reports to the Associate Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction and provides classroom support services as requested.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years’ successful teaching experience.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with high needs students in inclusive settings.
  • Observation skills/background.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and consult with building principals and teachers in an attempt to develop classroom composition resolutions at the site.
  • Serve as a resource for individual teachers working on classroom composition concerns.
  • Complete all paperwork to process a classroom composition concern.
  • Meet with the Classroom Composition Committee (could include teacher/principal) representing the classroom needs.
  • Serve as a resource person to the Classroom Composition Committee.
  • Serve as a resource person to individual teachers as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
