About The Position
The Classroom Assistant will support Instructor Jon Humphreys in the CPSC 230 course.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Python
- Completion of CPSC 231
- Experience explaining basic programming concepts
- Comfort speaking in front of large groups
- Ability to quickly debug simple coding issues
Responsibilities
- provide in-class support by answering individual questions
- assisting with individual and group assignments
- helping facilitate demonstration exercises
- assist with project development and evaluation
- quiz and exam construction
- general instructional support tasks
