Many People... One Strong Community...Join Our Growing Team! Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is hiring for a Classroom and Daycare Aide for Keuka Lake School in Yates County . This position assists in providing direct and indirect special education/general education and carryover therapy services to preschool children with and without disabilities. Classroom and Daycare Aide Duties and Responsibilities: This role involves providing services to children as outlined in their Life Plan or Individual Service Plans (ISP). It includes assisting the teacher and therapists in implementing the preschool curriculum and individual goals, as well as helping maintain the overall organization of classroom equipment, supplies, and physical space. The position supports the creation of educational materials and displays, including children's art, curriculum themes, and decorations for special events. Additional responsibilities include supervising students throughout the school day, including during arrival and dismissal, assisting with diapering, toileting, and toilet training as needed, preparing morning and afternoon snacks, helping supervise lunch, and preparing activities and meals for daycare children. Location: 240 North Ave, Penn Yan, NY Pay Range: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information
- Ability to communicate and work effectively within a team environment.
