About The Position
- Candidate should have a great deal of patience to work with students with autism and/or behavioral issues - Candidate should have a passion for working with students in elementary school grades and be willing to assist with behavioral needs, toileting and personal healthcare as needed - Provide appropriate support and encouragement to student - Assist student with class work in small groups and individually - Work under the supervision/direction of the classroom teacher and/or BCBA - Be willing to be trained to meet the behavioral and educational needs of the student - RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) trained or willingness to be trained
