About The Position

Cloverdale Unified School District is seeking applicants for various positions including Maintenance Worker, Custodian, Food Service, Special Education Assistant, Bus Driver, Van Driver, and specific Special Education Teachers. All employees must have a high school diploma or GED. Instructional Assistants are also required to pass a Basic Skills Test, provided by the school district. Employment is contingent upon completing and passing an assessment to determine that physical duties of the position can be performed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Pass a Basic Skills Test for Instructional Assistants.
  • Complete fingerprint background clearance.
  • Provide evidence of a negative tuberculosis examination.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Instructional Aide certificate or equivalent for Instructional Aides.

Responsibilities

  • Complete fingerprint background clearance through the California State Department of Justice prior to beginning work.
  • File evidence of having a tuberculosis examination with a negative result before starting work.
  • Provide documents that establish identity and employment eligibility as required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
  • Complete initial and random drug testing for Bus and Van Drivers.
  • Maintain compliance with district policies regarding discrimination and harassment.
