Under general supervision, performs varied typing and clerical work of average difficulty; and does other job related work as required. The position involves a variety of responsible clerical work including typing/word processing, proof reading, filing, checking, and recording information on records. The individual will be expected to answer inquiries concerning procedures and programs, compile and transmit information from various sources, and prepare acknowledgements and replies from form letters. Additionally, the role includes sorting, indexing, and filing materials, performing arithmetical calculations, and checking records for accuracy and compliance with established standards.
