The Classified Cybersecurity Analyst position at Northrop Grumman involves supporting information systems lifecycle activities within classified environments. The role requires performing assessments of systems and networks, ensuring compliance with security policies, and supporting certification and accreditation processes. The analyst will work on-site in either Redondo Beach, CA or Linthicum, MD, contributing to the security of cyber assets against evolving threats.

  • Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave.
  • Establish strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and support certification and accreditation of systems.
  • Support process analysis, coordination, security certification tests, and documentation.
  • Assist in implementing government policy and recommend process tailoring.
  • Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and recommend additional safeguards.
  • Support formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by government accrediting authorities.
  • Document results of Certification and Accreditation activities and prepare system Security Plans.
  • Conduct complete reviews of each system's audits and monitor corrective actions.
  • Master's degree with 0 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience; OR an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma with 6 years of experience.
  • Current DoD 8570 IAM level I (or higher) security certification (e.g., CND, Cloud+, Security+ CE).
  • Current DOD Top Secret level security clearance with SCI access and a recent Polygraph adjudicated within the last 2 years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security.
  • 3 years of experience with Certification & Accreditation of classified systems under RMF.
  • Knowledge of ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA&Ms, NIST, JSIG, system audits, vulnerability scanning, and RMF package development.
