About The Position

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Classified Cyber Security Technologist - Level 4 to support and defend classified networks. The selected candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Department of Defense (DoD) programs, ensuring classified information systems meet cyber security requirements and government directives. Responsibilities include auditing, detecting, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats across networks such as SIPRNet and JWICS. The role requires hands-on technical assistance for systems/networks, cyber technology development, and implementation, as well as assessing threats and vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working independently and as part of a team, and will be an accomplished cyber security practitioner in both Collateral and Special Access Program (SAP) environments.

Requirements

• Minimum of current Secret security clearance
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Possess a DoD 8570 IASAE Level-II Certification (CASP+ CE, CISSP (or Associate), CSSLP)
• Experience identifying requirements and requirement verification and validation
• Experience with creating, understanding, and updating system designs and architecture
• Experience executing Security Hardening on Windows Operating Systems based on approved DISA STIGs and SRGs
• Experience implementing NIST SP 800-53 security controls
• Experience with developing, installing, and operating Security monitoring solutions
• Experience with standard security and network environment tools and applications (Splunk, ePO, ACAS/Tenable.sc)
• Experience with SIPRNet or JWICS security posture and architecture
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and demanding environment
• Team player with effective organizational and motivational skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Full-Spectrum Leadership skills necessary for Cybersecurity personnel
• Experience in designing, developing, and integrating classified systems and networks in compliance with government regulations
• Proven knowledge of DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM), Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG), or Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Splunk and the ability to write queries, create dashboards
• Knowledge of other security disciplines and their impact on information system security
• Experience with network design processes
• Recognized cloud proficiency (CSSP, AWS, CSA, CompTIA Cloud+, CCSK, or others)
• Experience with classified operating systems and networks such as data centers and cloud environments

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and implementation of current and future security domains including those which may introduce new service areas (i.e., Cloud Computing, DevSecOps, etc.)
• Plan, implement, monitor, and upgrade security measures for the protection of program data, systems, and networks
• Ensure that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling appropriate security controls
• Troubleshoot technical security and network problems
• Lead system and/or network security breach responses
• Participate in the change management process
• Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities
• Coordinate activities with the ISSM and IT lead to ensure systems are secure and technically ready for inspection
• Identify requirements for verification and validation, create, understand, and update system design and architecture
• Represent the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and programs
• Perform daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with relevant departments
