About The Position

You will be the Classified Cyber Security Sr./ISSM for the Santa Barbara Focal Plane Infrared Sensors Business. Our team is responsible for safeguarding critical mission‑critical information systems and ensuring compliance with government security mandates. What You Will Be Doing As the Classified Cyber Security Sr. you will be responsible for leading information‑system security strategy and operations within the Santa Barbara Focal Plane Infrared Sensors Business. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Oversee day‑to-day information system security operations as the ISSM on all technical security matters. Review and oversee RMF package authorizations to maintain continuous authorization. Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents. Document compliance actions, manage POA&Ms, and maintain automated tracking. Participate in internal and external security audits, risk assessments, and investigations. Requirements

  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret Clearance
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level I baseline.
  • Experience with IS auditing and investigations.
  • Knowledgeable of operating system security requirements.
  • Experience with developing, reviewing and maintaining RMF artifacts.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard Information Assurance tools.
  • Experience working in environments supporting DoD National Security Systems.
  • Experience implementing new and complex technologies at multiple classification levels within large environments and at an Enterprise level.
  • Experience with developing, reviewing, and maintaining RMF artifacts.
  • Hands-on experience with one of the following: ICD 503/JSIG/DAAPAM.
  • Experience with scripting languages.
  • Experience implementing complex technologies within large environments, possessing strong technical skills.
  • In-depth experience in system hardening, analysis, and vulnerability management.
  • Understand Agile operations while possessing sound business acumen.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, demanding environment.
  • Knowledge of other security disciplines and how they impact and interact with information system security.
  • Understanding of network concepts and Type 1 encryption devices, such as TACLANE.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and cybersecurity related tools to include, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), and vulnerability scanners.
  • Ability to perform technical certifications for systems being presented to the government for authorization.
  • Ability to speak in front of large groups of people.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance.
