About The Position

The Classes Senior Supply Coordinator collaborates with their colleagues on organizing and coordinating all aspects of OMSI Classes supply needs, including organization, pick-up, delivery, ordering, and care. Essential Job Responsibilities Performing the following will involve driving to various locations outside the museum: Purchase supplies for all summer classes programming; Track inventory and maintain accurate purchasing records ; Works cooperatively with the Classes Management-and other Classes staff-to ensure program supply needs are met. Propose following season material needs through research and analysis of current season material use; Organizes educational materials to ensure all items are prepared prior to each class and weekly class reset; Maintains a safe work environment by following proper storage and transport procedures . Secondary Job Responsibilities Secondary responsibilities include-but are not limited to-the following: Works with Management staff to ensure all areas of program needs are met; Provides first aid care to participants and staff when necessary; Assists the Education Programs Supervisor in supervising Supply Coordinators. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities REQUIREMENTS: Ability to accurately plan and coordinate classes supplies and materials flow; Demonstrated knowledge of and/or ability to effectively practice project coordination; Demonstrated ability to pivot between individual and team work; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite products; Exercises sound judgment while upholding high integrity and ethical standards; Strong interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills that adhere to confidentiality, protocol, and community agreements; Ability to learn current equity, diversity, inclusion and social justice theories and practical applications, including critical theories of systemic oppression, unconscious bias, and personal identity and intersectionality matters. Education & Work Experience REQUIREMENTS: Leadership and/or project experience i.e. floor supervisor, warehouse lead, or similar; Minimum one year working in a fast-paced environment, often with stringent and overlapping time constraints; Demonstrated experience or ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and talents in a professional work environment. Additional Requirements/Preferences; Including Licenses and Certifications REQUIREMENTS: Pre-employment checks, such as criminal background checks and reference checks. Valid Driver's License and must meet OMSI's driving standards, including passing a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check; Current CPR and First-Aid Certification: If not licensed , training can be provided at no cost for selected candidates as part of the onboarding process.
