About The Position

This position will work on assorted projects related to IT and technical support, documents, events, and other activities that the Class Dean’s office needs support with. This is not an ongoing position. The special projects student employee will only be hired and paid on a short-term basis, depending on the needs of our office. Department: Class Deans Location: Reamer 303 Supervisor: Rebecca Fields Hours/Shifts Available: As Needed Rate of Pay: $15.50/hr Number of Positions available: 1

Requirements

• Ability to set goals and work independently
• Detail oriented, with a willingness to learn
• Must have the ability to handle sensitive information with the appropriate discretion
• Strong communication skills (both written and oral) are required
• Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to take initiative

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Class Deans and staff inside the office
• Help plan and execute Class Dean and International Advising programming, including event set-up and clean-up
• Put together and proofread different documents like presentations, event advertising, social media, and spreadsheets
• Assistance with the Community Closet and various pop ups
