About The Position

LOCATION: Dallas, TX Job Functions / Responsibilities The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, independent worker. The candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills. A candidate who has motivation to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License and advance to becoming a technician is preferred. This position’s duties include: Perform diagnostic inspections on general truck-tractor systems utilizing both mechanical diagnostics and system software diagnostics. Perform preventative maintenance inspection of truck-tractor components. Perform repairs to truck-tractor components. Complete required paperwork to reflect hours, parts and lube, which are utilized within each job function. Ability to work with little or no supervision. Make road calls when component failure is in remote location.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years truck-trailer repair experience.
  • Commercial Driver’s License required
  • Needs to have a minimum of three (3) Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications
  • Safety conscious and knowledge of general shop safety.
  • Capable of completing job functions and without repeat repairs.
  • Basic Knowledge of DOT and CVSA rules and requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Available for full-time and able to work rotating shifts.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
  • High School diploma required.

Nice To Haves
