About The Position
Trillium Drivers is seeking dedicated CDL Class B Truck Drivers to join our team in Columbia, MO. As a Distribution Driver Class B, you will play a crucial role in delivering products to various clients, including bars, restaurants, and hotels. Your responsibilities will encompass not only the delivery of goods but also the inspection and maintenance of the vehicle you operate. You will be expected to prepare, load, unload, and clean the vehicle while adhering to all safety precautions in accordance with SGWS and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines. This position requires a commitment to safety and professionalism, ensuring that all deliveries are made in a timely and courteous manner. In this role, you will review standing orders, develop sales, process payments, and maintain accurate records. Daily tasks will include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle, sorting merchandise by invoice for delivery, and ensuring that all safety equipment is utilized during loading and unloading. You will also be responsible for checking in money and returned goods, completing required paperwork such as the DOT logbook and driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR), and reporting any incidents to the dispatcher. Adhering to traffic laws and maintaining a clean and organized vehicle and equipment will be essential to your success in this position. This is a full-time position with a pay rate of $24 per hour, and we are looking for candidates who are committed to upholding our company standards and values.
