About The Position

PET Dairy, a farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), is seeking dependable CDL-B Route delivery truck drivers. This role involves operating a straight truck to safely and efficiently unload and deliver various dairy products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Drivers are expected to build positive relationships with customers, understand their operations, and meet their needs. DFA is a large dairy marketing cooperative that manufactures a variety of dairy products under well-known regional brands, committed to delivering fresh dairy to communities.

Requirements

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) with air brake
• A clean driving record
• 21+ years of age
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 55 pounds
• Willing to work flexible hours, including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months related experience

Responsibilities

• Operate a straight truck safely and efficiently
• Manually unload/deliver various dairy products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule
• Build relationships with each customer using positive, friendly attitudes
• Become familiar with customer operations to meet needs and expectations
