About The Position

Sutton Transport is seeking experienced Pickup and Delivery drivers to join our dedicated team. This full-time position involves operating commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Requirements

• At least one year of tractor-trailer experience, preferably P&D.
• Valid CDL B with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations in the last three years.
• Ability to work independently and return home daily.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain commercial vehicles in compliance with company and industry regulations.
• Transport goods safely to their destination, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Follow route and schedule to optimize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and reliability of the equipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the proper handling of hazardous materials if applicable.
• Handle unexpected situations, such as adverse weather conditions or traffic, with professionalism and adaptability.
