About The Position

Cedar Grove Organics is seeking Class B drivers to operate Front-End Loader trucks for servicing customer dumpsters and bins in the greater Seattle, Everett, and Tacoma areas. This full-time position is unionized and offers benefits through Teamsters 174. The role involves working in various weather conditions and requires interaction with customers in a professional manner. The position is based in Everett with occasional reporting to Seattle as needed.

Requirements

• Class B CDL
• DOT Medical Card
• Insurable driving record
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Dependable and self-motivated with the ability to work without supervision
• Ability to work with the public in a professional manner
• Flexible work schedule due to seasonal demands.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate Class B equipment in all seasons and weather conditions.
• Cover any route/routes needed between the other locations.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and complete logs before operating the vehicle.
• Interact with customers and the public in a professional, courteous manner.
• Empty customer containers and bins, including recycling and food waste.
• Deliver waste to the facility for processing as needed.
• Maintain daily customer billing paperwork.
• Maintain the containers and bins and make replacement recommendations.
• Check each account for how full the container is for sales.
• Perform other duties as required.
