Local Delivery Driver - CDL B

Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Class B Delivery Driver based out of our DeForest Branch. We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 8 locations. As a Delivery Driver, you are the team member that our customers interact with the most. Providing exceptional customer service is a key part of this role and is essential in maintaining our commitment to customer service. You will interact with customers professionally, ensuring a positive delivery experience and addressing any questions or concerns. Duties include checking orders for accuracy, inspecting product for damage, and keeping accurate records of deliveries.
Requirements
- Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21+ or older
- Ability to work early morning hours (2 AM – 4 AM depending on the route)
- Access to reliable and punctual transportation
- Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
- Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
- Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse (CDL only) full query
- Must be able to read and write English
- Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
- Must be comfortable driving a straight truck
Responsibilities
- Safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines
- Comfortably drive and unload in varying weather conditions
- Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
- Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally
- Checking orders for accuracy
- Inspecting product for damage
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries
