About The Position

Are you a safety-conscious driver looking for a stable, full-time career with great pay, benefits, and the chance to be home every night? LeMay Centralia, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a reliable and motivated Class B CDL Container Delivery Driver to join our team in Centralia, WA. Previous waste industry experience is a big plus—but not required. We’re happy to train the right person! The schedule is Monday–Friday, from 5am-1:30pm or 3:30pm (pending routes) and occasional Saturdays as needed. The starting pay $27-28/hr with annual pay increases and bonus opportunities. Waste Connections is an integrated solid waste services company that provides solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services in mostly exclusive and secondary markets. Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Responsibilities

• Ability to safely operate a flat bed truck on specified routes to deliver/remove carts and containers.
• Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers.
• Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
