About The Position

Dohrn Transfer Company is seeking a Full Time CDL Class B City Driver for their Green Bay, WI Terminal. This role involves safely driving a commercial vehicle to pick up and deliver general freight, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The position offers a competitive starting pay of $24.93 per hour, with an increase to $28.26 per hour after the first year, and provides drivers with the opportunity to be home daily.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21.
• At least 1 year of verifiable class B equipment experience.
• Valid CDL Class B License.
• High School completion or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a road test administered by a Dohrn Transfer Driver Trainer.
• Possess or obtain Hazardous Material and Tanker endorsements on current valid driver's license.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and functional screen.
• Consent to a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with mechanical freight handling equipment.
• Ability to read and write the English language and perform simple mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a commercial vehicle safely while picking up and delivering general freight.
• Load and unload truck either individually or with assistance of dockworkers.
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of freight.
• Inspect the vehicle for defects and safe operating conditions as required by law and company policy.
• Comply with all Federal requirements regarding the transportation of Hazardous Materials.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver's logs and other records required by law.
