Pay and Schedule Starting Pay: $35.00-$35.50 per hour Schedule: Monday through Friday, starting between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM, with overtime opportunities and occasional Saturdays as needed Why You'll Love This Job This is more than just driving—it's an active, challenging role where you'll: Operate manual transmission roll-off trucks (10, 13, or 18-speed) Climb in and out of your truck multiple times per day Secure loads and ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards Work outdoors in all weather conditions Deliver excellent service while representing a company known for safety and integrity Responsibilities Safely operate roll-off trucks on assigned routes Use a tablet to manage routes, complete paperwork, and maintain accurate logs Pick up and deliver containers to customer sites and disposal facilities Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections Secure loads and ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards Interact professionally with customers and dispatch Maintain safe driving practices at all times under DriveCam monitoring Physical & Working Conditions Frequent climbing in and out of the cab Heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling—objects over 50 lbs Exposure to outdoor elements year-round Work around moving mechanical parts, fumes, vibration, and moderate noise Must follow strict safety protocols at all times Minimum Requirements Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement Manual transmission experience (10, 13, or 18-speed) required At least 2 years of commercial driving experience Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; high school diploma or equivalent preferred SAFETY SENSITIVE - YES Why Waste Connections?
