About The Position

Job Summary: CDL Class B drivers to deliver carpet and flooring products to commercial warehouses. If you are a Delivery Truck Driver who wants to be home for dinner every night, new equipment to drive, and a high-energy professional work environment, then apply today! Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 to 10 hours per day Equipment: 18’ and 28’ Penske Leased Box Trucks with lift gates

Requirements

Possess a valid CDL.
Possess a valid DOT Medical Certificate, minimum of 1-year.
Have a minimum of 2 years’ CDL truck driving experience, and able to pass a road test.
You must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
Motor Vehicle Record and PSP must not have excessive safety violations.
Ability to bump docks
Experienced and physically able to operate hand trucks and manual pallet jacks.
Must be customer service minded and professional.
Must be hardworking, high energy, dependable, and a team player.

Responsibilities

Follow the scheduled route for daily deliveries.
Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner.
Collect signature or payment, if necessary, upon arrival to the recipient client
Document overages, shortages, and damages to the freight.
Inspect Equipment Daily and report issues per company policy.
Keep the vehicle organized and clean.
Serve as a brand ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.
Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules.
Utilize technology per company policy, including dual facing cameras and company provided devices for paperless delivery.
