1st Shift Position Monday-Friday Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver finished products to customers Drop off material for outside processing; pick up outside processed material Load and unload material from truck using forklift Assist with packaging material when necessary Ensure loads are properly packaged and secured to prevent damaging. Follow all trucking regulations and laws Maintain the truck Fill out daily vehicle checklist Operate a forklift Drive Safely Required Education and Experience: 1 - 3 years of relevant experience A valid Class A driver's license is required High school degree or GED required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent driving skills Ability to drive and operate a large truck Work from written specifications and verbal instructions Maintains a good attendance record Overtime and weekend work could be required Ability to work effectively with all other employees Must have good communication skills Continuous process improvement will be required Strong organizational skills A positive attitude The capacity and desire to learn The ability to pass both a pre-employment background and drug screening Working Conditions (Including Physical and Mental Demands): Ability to speak, hear and interpret sounds and speech Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per day, occasionally 8+ hours, occasionally position will require stooping, kneeling or crouching for less than 8 hours per day Ability to carry up to 50 pounds. Occasional exposure to loud noises Ability to drive and sit in a vehicle for 8+ hours.
