About The Position
Deliver trusses on job sites in a safe and efficient manner while meeting internal and external customer needs.
Requirements
- CDL Required
- 1+ years’ experience in truck driving
- Clean Driving Record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Good written and oral communication skills are required
- Ability to deal courteously with customers, co-workers, and construction personnel.
Responsibilities
- Follow all company rules and guidelines in regards to procedures and safety
- Arrive to work on time
- Ensure vehicle is in good condition and ready for use by conducting daily inspection every morning
- Drivers must strap and unstrap their loads.
- Check orders for accuracy, load warehouse items and secure loads to prevent material from shifting
- Assist with yard housekeeping, organizing material, maintaining facility, loading trucks, pulling orders, etc. when not driving
