About The Position

Upper Lakes Foods, Inc., the largest independent wholesale food distributor in Minnesota, is seeking CDL-A Teams Delivery Drivers to join their team. This full-time position is based in Northfield, MN, and involves driving a tractor trailer to manually unload various products (meat, produce, frozen foods, dry goods, supplies) to customer sites using a two-wheeler on metal truck ramps. The role requires a passion for safe driving, hard work, and excellent customer service. Routes can range from 10-20 hours, depending on the location, with drivers returning home daily. Customer locations include Fargo North Dakota, Cedar Rapids Iowa, Des Moines Iowa, Sioux Falls South Dakota, and Waterloo Iowa. Upper Lakes Foods operates distribution centers in Cloquet, MN; Northfield, MN; and Janesville, WI, serving restaurants, schools, assisted living facilities, and foodservice chains throughout the Upper Midwest. Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Good driving record and ability to meet DOT medical requirements
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; basic math skills required
• Customer service experience and ability to work in all weather conditions
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and integrity

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• 1+ year driving experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor trailer to deliver products (meat, produce, frozen foods, dry goods, supplies) to customer sites
• Unload products using a two-wheeler and place them in designated customer storage areas
• Perform pre-trip inspections, verify invoices, and conduct trailer temperature checks
• Maintain delivery schedule and productivity standards
• Complete post-trip responsibilities, including returns, fueling, and required paperwork (DOT logs, DVIR, etc.)
