Dunavant is seeking Class A Owner Operators for local and regional routes in Houston, TX, offering a competitive pay structure and a sign-on bonus. This position allows drivers to be home daily, with a pay range of $2,000 to $3,500 per week, and intermodal drivers can earn up to $180,000 per year. The company emphasizes steady work for local and regional drivers, particularly those with HAZMAT endorsements, which are a plus for a new account. The role involves 100% drop and hook freight, ensuring efficiency and minimal downtime for drivers. The company also offers accessorial pay for layovers, chassis splits, HAZMAT, tank endorsements, and heavy loads. Additionally, drivers can benefit from incentives such as a HAZMAT upcharge on every load and a tanker upcharge for those with the appropriate endorsements. The driver fuel surcharge program and fuel cards with discounts further enhance the earning potential, with discounts updated daily that can offer up to $1+ off per gallon.
