About The Position

Learn more about the company at www.pafco.net. We are looking for flexible drivers. For this position you must have a have valid TWIC card Must be willing to also do OTR to Northern CA & local work. You may be asked to work night shifts. Driver will be in company yard unless sent to Port/Airport for pick-ups. Any local work will be paid an hourly wage of $28-30/hr straight pay depending on experience with valid TWIC card. OTR is Northern/Southern CA and Arizona is paid per mile+ per stop. Please note that delivery routes are touch freight (unload pallets by pallet jack). The pallets are pre-made by our warehouse; the driver must check load before they leave. Driver will assist with pre-loading of truck prior to route Will be responsible for manually unloading various palatalized products to designated dry, frozen and cold storage areas to local markets/warehouses Driver will be responsible for making sure correct containers are at the correct doors. Driver will be responsible for port pick-ups.

Requirements

All Drivers are required to cross state lines every 90 days (cross to Arizona)
Must be willing to do OTR w/ team and/or local routes (we require local drivers to cross state lines once every 90 days to be in compliance with DOT)
Must have valid TWIC card
Must be flexible
Able to lift/push/pull up to 50+ lbs.
Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
No more than 1 moving violations in the past 3 years
Must be able to write/read English

Nice To Haves

Preferred 1+ year experience driving Reefer Tractor Trailer

Responsibilities
