About The Position
Class A OTR Solo Driver POSITION DETAILS Pay/salary information: Detention Pay at $12.50 per hour after the second hour; Layover/Breakdown Pay at $100 per day Home time details: Flexible home time policy based on driver needs Equipment type: 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadias or Kenworths Freight type: 100% no-touch freight, with 50-60% drop & hook and 40-50% live unload Route/lane information: Nationwide OTR covering all 48 states, primarily east of I-35 Mileage average: Drivers typically run around 2,000 miles per week; top performers run between 2,300-3,000+ miles per week No forced NYC dispatch: Drivers are not required to enter NYC or its five boroughs
Requirements
- Previous driving experience preferred
- Valid CDL-A required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with driving and freight handling
- Clean driving record and background check required
