About The Position

Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport is seeking experienced Heavy Haul Transport Drivers to join our team! We’re looking for Class A CDL drivers with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities. This local/regional position involves hauling high, wide, and heavy loads using lowboy, Landoll, step-deck, flatbed trailers, and heavy-duty rollbacks. We are hiring for the Tampa Bay area, Orlando, and ALL surrounding areas!!!! LIMITED TIME ONLY! Hired By April 30, 2026 SIGN-ON BONUS OF $2,500 Manual transmissions only—no slip seating! Requirements

Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable experience required
Current DOT Medical Card required
TWIC Card (required within 30 days of hire)
HAZMAT endorsement (required within 90 days of hire)
Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse
Clean driving record (required for at least the last 3 years)
MUST be able to pass a background check and drug test
Experience with heavy equipment hauling required
MUST be able to drive manual transmission trucks

Responsibilities

Maneuver tractor and trailers into loading/unloading positions, following signals from crew and ensuring safe positioning
Pull trailers configured with tow bars or goosenecks as needed
Load and unload trucks, operate special loading equipment, and assist others as required
Secure equipment for transport using ropes, chains, binders, etc.
Operate multi-axle trailers for heavy equipment transport
Use GPS mapping effectively
Work in all weather conditions
