About The Position

Join Menzies Aviation, one of the leading fueling companies in the world, as a Class A Hazmat Tanker Driver. You will be responsible for safely operating a tractor trailer/tanker, loading Jet-A Fuel at the terminal, and offloading it at the ASIG Facility. You will report the status of daily operations to the supervisor and/or manager, complete daily truck sheets and vehicle inspections, and ensure compliance with all safety procedures. This position requires performing other service functions as required.

Requirements

• Must possess a California class A Driver License with Haz-Mat endorsements.
• Must have 2+ years of driving / over the road experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English proficiently.
• Must possess and maintain valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
• Must pass driver's test with the Department of Airports and obtain a driver's license to drive on Airport Operational Area (AOA).
• Must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT Physical & Drug screen.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift and attach fuel hose to load and unload fuel from tanker.
• Comfortable lifting/moving 70 lbs.
• Available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor trailer/tanker filled with liquid on highways, obeying all traffic laws.
• Load Jet-A Fuel at terminal and offload at ASIG Facility.
• Report status of daily operations to the supervisor and/or manager.
• Complete daily truck sheets and vehicle inspections.
• Comply with all safety procedures and report incidents immediately.
• Perform other service functions as required.

Benefits
