About The Position

Reddy Ice manufactures and distributes approximately 1.8 million tons of ice annually to a broad and diversified customer base, relying on ice produced under the industry’s highest standards. This position is for a Class A Driver who delivers ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers) that require a CDL class A license. Drivers are either assigned a delivery route or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations. The delivery region, route, and type of equipment operated are subject to change depending on business needs.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have a current/valid class A CDL license
• Must possess driving record that meets or exceeds company-qualifying standards
• A minimum of one (1) year experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to which you will be assigned to operate during the time of employment with the company is required

Nice To Haves

• Three years previous route delivery driver or DSD experience

Responsibilities

• Delivers ice to customers in articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers)
• Assigned a delivery route or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations
• Unloads, loads, and rotates product in merchandisers / iceboxes
