Class A Driver
About The Position
Our drivers are an integral part to the success of our business because they are the final piece in our customer experience. We are currently looking for talented, hard-working individuals to join our driver team. Route deliveries with regular shifts allowing our drivers to be home with family each day. World-Class Benefits program (see below). Well maintained equipment allowing for driver safety and exceptional customer service. Flatbed or Stake-bed experience a plus.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- At least 6 months experience as a truck driver
- Valid Class A Driver License
- Manual Transmission
- Doubles Endorsement
- Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Clean driving record
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
Nice To Haves
- Flatbed or Stake-bed experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Strap down and maintain quality control and to organize workload for maximum effectiveness on a flatbed
- Represent the company in a customer-friendly and positive manner.
- Communicate clearly and concisely.
- Strong detail orientation and understanding of safe work processes and procedures.
