About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Class A Driver to handle local pickup and delivery operations within the area. This role focuses on efficiently transporting freight between customer locations and terminals while maintaining a high standard of customer service and safety. Drivers will return home daily and enjoy consistent schedules.

Requirements

Experience: 1+ years of Class A driving experience required.
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
License: Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions.
Endorsements: Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
Driving Record: Clean driving record is required.
Screening: Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug screen

Responsibilities

Local Pickup and Delivery: Transport and deliver freight to customers and terminals in the assigned region.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers to ensure deliveries meet their expectations.
Documentation: Accurately complete delivery paperwork, including bills of lading and proof of delivery.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including pre- and post-trip inspections and compliance with DOT regulations.
Freight Handling: Assist with loading and unloading freight as necessary, using appropriate equipment like pallet jacks or lift gates.
Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with dispatch regarding delays, issues, or changes in delivery routes.
