About The Position

The Class A Driver at Medline Industries is responsible for operating a Class A vehicle to transport life-saving medical products to local customers. This role is crucial in ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries while building positive relationships with customers. The driver will work with a fleet of newer trucks and is part of a network that provides 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years tractor trailer driving experience.
• Class A CDL; Licensed to operate assigned vehicle.
• Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route, abiding by Medline's safety regulations.
• Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to customers, addressing their questions and needs, and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with the dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to delivery routes or schedules to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform inspection of the vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels.
