Kodiak Robotics, Inc. was founded in 2018 and has become a leader in autonomous ground transportation committed to a safer and more efficient future for all. The company has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) powered technology stack purpose-built for commercial trucking and the public sector. The company delivers freight daily for its customers across the southern United States using its autonomous technology. In 2024, Kodiak became the first known company to publicly announce delivering a driverless semi-truck to a customer. Kodiak is also leveraging its commercial self-driving software to develop, test and deploy autonomous capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced commercial drivers to join our Lancaster operations as Assisted Autonomy Drivers to help us deploy our autonomous technology. Our team is on the cutting edge of working with our partners to improve and integrate our technology in real world conditions. Assisted Autonomy allows a trained CDL driver to remotely control a self-driving truck in certain low-speed situations—like tight yards or complex drop-off areas—where a human touch is helpful. It blends remote support with onboard autonomy to create a solution that enables safety and flexibility. All Assisted Autonomy drivers must be experienced and fully licensed, and operate a remote assistance station with intuitive controls including a steering wheel, pedals and brakes to provide guidance to the Kodiak Driver.
