About The Position

C&S Wholesale Grocers desires to create the most safe, efficient, and service forward fleet in the country. As a Professional Driver with C&S Wholesale Grocers, you will start your driving career with the company by working with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) who will provide coaching and insight on the C&S Way which includes company and regulatory requirements. Once you have successfully completed our new hire training program, you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through deliveries of product and services while performing all other assigned duties. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Part-Time schedule working Mondays and Fridays (Saturday if you want the hours) $33.32/hr + Utilizing the specialized skills developed with experience and the C&S Professional Driver Training Program, you will operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc), applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations, to transport and safely deliver product + Driver will load and unload (ambient or temperature sensitive) product to customers on an average of 3-10 stops per day + Driver will inspect, document and ensure equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements + Inspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements + All other duties as assigned + Travel Required:Yes

Requirements

• DOT Certified
• Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Department Of Transportation Physical Exam.
• Must be DOT certified with all qualification requirements
• Quality and customer-service focused.
• Comply with FMCSR/DOT/Company policies and procedures
• 1-2 years of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• 1-2 years of supporting a large Enterprise Storage environment.
• 1-2 years of One year of recent applicable CMV experience or participation/completion of a company approved CDL truck driving school
