About The Position

We are searching for an experienced Class A CDL Yard Driver at our BR99-CDC-Springfield-MO facility. Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets has an opportunity for Class A CDL Yard Driver at our distribution center located in Springfield, MO. Headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana, Dexter has manufacturing and distribution locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 12 months of commercial driving experience
• Dry van experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to a height of 60 inches
• Willingness to take on other duties as assigned
• Safety-focused and team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 8 tractor with a 53' dry van (up to 80,000 lbs)
• Shuttle trailers between Central Warehouse, DATs, and off-site locations
• Stage trailers at dock doors to optimize loading/unloading
• Perform daily pickups (including Redline Products by 3 PM)
• Complete pre/post-trip inspections and DOT logs
• Keep truck/trailer clean and organized
• Assist with local deliveries and warehouse tasks as needed
• Help maintain an organized and safe trailer yard, including proper placement and use of steel plates
• Operate warehouse equipment and support warehouse tasks when needed
• Receive inbound products accurately and safely using handheld logistics systems
• Put away received items in designated storage areas and record all movements
• Pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders to ensure safe and efficient delivery
• Maximize pallet space and ensure packaging is secure and professional
• Follow all safety protocols and report any issues or injuries promptly
