Requirements

Proven experience in truck driving with a valid Class A CDL license.
Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
Ability to load & unload freight independently or with equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks.
Experience with route driving, delivery schedules, and managing freight logistics efficiently.
Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and customer service.
Physical capability to handle freight tasks including lifting and securing loads as needed.
Must be at least 21 years old
Must have a valid class A CDL
6 months experience

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate tractor-trailers with a focus on van freight across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling skills or equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
Maintain safe driving practices, adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
Manage route driving responsibilities, including planning optimal routes for efficiency and safety.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your vehicle to ensure it is in top condition.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, load status, and any issues encountered.
Support the delivery process by handling freight securely in refrigerated trailers or dry vans as required.
