About The Position
CDL-A Shuttle Driver Richmond, VA - Hiring Within: Richmond POSITION DETAILS Base Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift / drivers must be flexible if needed Tractor type: Day cab - possible slip seat Truck Parking: Chester, VA and onsite at major manufacturer in Richmond, VA Work Week: 4-5 days Home Time: Daily Pay Type: Hourly NEW Pay (effective 8/1/24): $25.50/hr Pay Increase: Contractual Increase Holiday Pay: 8 hours at hourly pay rate - see CO Union packet Vacation Pay: Average weekly pay for prior 52 weeks - see CO Union packet Rider Program: No Guarantee Pay: No Accessorial: No Other Requirements: Extra Security/CRC requirements for badge clearance Average Weekly Hours/Miles: 40-45 per week average (not guaranteed) Average Weekly Pay Gross (not take home): 40 hours = $980 Job Description: Shuttle between major manufacturer / PM USA locations in Richmond, VA. Utilizes auto/self-unloading trailers. Training will be provided on special equipment. Drivers are in/out of the tractor multiple times per day dropping/hooking/live pickup/delivery. Loads per day could be as few as 5-6 or as many as 10-12. Schedule: Local, Sun-Thur, 11pm start time (Sunday start 1800). Additional days as needed. Work through 7:30am or until work is finished, typically earlier on Sundays. Driver will operate PTO hydraulic system to load and unload automatic trailers. Driver will go through hands-on training at the account after hired. Schedule: Local, Mon-Thur (4-day work week), 1st shift, 7am start time. Work through 3:30pm or until work is finished. Additional days as needed. Driver will operate PTO hydraulic system to load and unload automatic trailers. Driver will go through hands-on training at the account after hired. Some extended hours and duties as needed. Schedule: Local, Tues-Sat, 1st shift Floater, 6am start time. Work through 3:30pm or until work is finished. Additional days as needed. Driver will operate PTO hydraulic system to load and unload automatic trailers. Driver will go through hands-on training at the account after hired. Some extended hours and duties as needed. (Cannot guarantee which schedule they will get)
Requirements
- CDL Class A required
- Must meet extra security/CRC requirements for badge clearance
- Flexible availability for various shifts
