Class A CDL Regional Driver - Home Every Other Weekend (Holiday Schedule)

About The Position

POSITION DETAILS Home time: Every other weekend for 3 full days Drivers take the truck and trailer home (must have parking - no reimbursement for parking fees) Drivers will not take freight home - empty trailer only May be able to leave trailer at customer and bobtail home Special holiday schedule: Drivers must run 25 days straight from Black Friday until late December, then take 6 days off and come back out Average miles per week: 1,900-2,200 miles Run direct transit expedited freight with 40% running at night between 9pm and 5am Drivers must be able to flip their clocks between day and night driving, with proper rest periods 85% drop and hook and 100% no touch freight (no lumpers or unloading required ever) Average length of haul: 400 miles with additional pay for complete loads under 400 miles (0-100 miles = $35, 101-400 miles = $25) Major customers include: a large retailer, a major manufacturer, and a major home improvement retailer Top 50% of Solo Company Drivers earned an average of $102,499 in 2024 CSA Safety Bonus every 90 days: $700 (no hazmat) or $875 (with hazmat) On Road Safety Bonus every 90 days: $600 Detention pay after one hour: $15 per hour Breakdown pay: $100 for 1st day and $160 for each additional day Drivers are paid Rand McNally Practical on all miles loaded and empty Strict cell phone policy and outward-facing cameras on all trucks Hazmat drivers are paid more per mile and more in bonuses (hazmat not required) 4-day orientation at Charlotte NC, Columbus OH, or Manchester PA with all expenses paid including transportation, lodging, and meals Orientation pay: $300 per driver Transition bonus includes CSA (PTO) and On Road Bonus 1st check and then On Road Bonus after 30 days
