About The Position

American Furniture Warehouse (AFW) is currently seeking qualified Class A CDL Drivers. AFW has experienced an extreme amount of growth in recent years, and our fleet of over 100 trucks is growing even larger. At AFW the number one concern truly is safety and compliance, and we are looking for team drivers who believe in safety. At AFW you are not a number, always a name! Starting pay of .55-.57 cpm DOE Job Requirements No more than 2 moving violations in any motor vehicle in the past 3 years No major violations No at-fault accident in the last 3 years 1 year OTR experience in the last 3 years Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam per FMCSA regulations No major FMCSA violations Clean MVR with no at-fault D.O.T reportable accidents with in the last three year Job Description Great Pay - Steady Miles Starting CPM .55-.57 (rate determined by experience). Sirius satellite, fridges, and inverters installed on all of our vans. Paid orientation Most inbound loads drop and hook. No-touch freight and loads are pre-planned in advance Dogs are allowed as long as the tractor is kept clean and odor-free, no cats Stop pay, detention, and layover pay Home Time: on 5-7 days; 34-48 hours home weekends not guaranteed. 85% of loads are dropped and hook; 98% no-touch freight Must be willing to chain up during severe weather Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and a host of other voluntary benefits available 1st day of the month following 60 days of employment 401k retirement plan with matching contributions Vacation and sick time available.
