About The Position

PARR is the total source for homebuilding supplies, solutions, and services We focus on supplying building materials and solutions to professional home builders of all sizes, including custom builders, large production builders, and multifamily builders Our customers andmunity members k that they can rely on us for Legendary Service and quality products Job title: Class A CDL Driver Pay: Starting at $25 to $29 an hour, depending on experience Schedule: Monday-Friday starting at 6am and working until all loads for the day have been delivered Location: Pasco, Washington At PARR, our Drivers are essential to fulfilling the needs of our customers by making sure they are receiving their orders on-time and in great condition The ideal driver is someone who is driven to maintain safety regulations and above and beyond customer service The Driver reports directly to the General Manager and interacts daily with customers, dispatchers, receivers, and load-builders

Requirements

Must be 21 years old or over
Class A CDL required (air-brake endorsement required)
Current DOT Medical Card
Acceptable driving record
Kledge of vehicle safety audits and reports of any malfunctioning equipment as required by Federal and state regulations andpany policy
Ability to speak, write, and read English required
Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience
Open and transparentmunication
Familiarity with GPS devices or map applications
Ability to pass DOT pre-placement physical
Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to sit for an extended period of time
Ability to stoop, bend and walk

Nice To Haves

Driving experience within 50-mile radius of primary location preferred

Responsibilities

Always provides required paperwork and scanning for dispatch
Seeks to learn products and their application for the end users
Learns and follows established best practices

Demonstrates legal and thorough kledge of tie down rules and regs
Understands weight, height, and length limits
Ensures that all material transported on the truck has either an invoice or Material Returns Form
Continues to participate in training as available
Learning best practices related to efficient loading, strapping, and driving
Checks load for accuracy
Annually update driver's qualification file as required by Federal and state regulations andpany policy
Legally, safely, and efficiently travel to destinations through public and private roads
Complete mileage and fuel usage reports
Annually update driver's qualification file as required by Federal and state regulations andpany policy
Follow delivery procedures by taking photos of delivered shipment afterpleting each delivery
Learns and uses route planning and optimization
Demonstratesmitment to on-time and in-full deliveries
Perform other related duties as assigned
