Class A CDL Driver for Remmey The Pallet Company Beaver Springs
About The Position
REMMEY - The Pallet Company is the largest pallet manufacturer dedicated to superior customer service, quality and innovative pallet solutions in the Middle Atlantic region. REMMEY owns and operates two manufacturing plants in Pennsylvania (Lehighton, PA and Beaver Springs, PA) cutting, nailing and delivering over 12,000 pallets daily. As a highly respected leader in this very competitive industry, REMMEY has earned its good reputation by delivering quality pallets, built to a customer's specifications, on-time, at very competitive prices. In the 60 years since its inception the company has grown to over 145 employees producing over 2.4 million pallets a year. This CDL Class A Truck Driver position would involve working approximately 50 hours per week, depending on the workload. This is a local driving position which would allow the driver to be home every day.
Requirements
- Must have a valid CDL-A truck driving license
- Must have a clean record
- Must have professional and positive attitude
- Must pass all pre-employment drug tests and physicals
- Ability to commute/relocate: Beaver Springs, PA 17812: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- License/Certification: CDL A (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Ability to take direction
- Self-motivated and familiar with minor trailer repairs
- Familiar with D.O.T. regulations
Responsibilities
- Drop and hook trailers as necessary
- Act in a professional manner when communicating with customers, suppliers and other company employees
