In this essential role, you’ll be responsible for operating a semi-truck to deliver and merchandise GPC products to our valued customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Ready to hit the road with a company that values you? Apply today and start your journey with GPC! Work Schedule: Be home every evening, night, and weekend—no overnight hauls. Enjoy a four-day workweek (10-hour shifts) between Monday and Friday, with one designated weekday off. Start time is 5:00 AM. A day in the life of a Class A CDL Driver: Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to safely deliver products to a designated customer route. Unload and check in products and ensure accurate delivery quantities with store personnel. Merchandise product at designated stops to ensure shelves are well-stocked and displays meet GPC standards. Serve as the face of GPC, fostering strong relationships with store teams and maintaining a positive brand image. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns on-site professionally. Maintain compliance with all DOT, company, and safety policies and regulations. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with a strong safety history
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently
- A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with product delivery, merchandising, or route sales is a plus but not required
