About The Position

CLASS A CDL DRIVER Job Summary: Shuster's Building Components is a manufacturer of interior and exterior door units that serves the retail building supply industry in 7 states surrounding the Tri-State area. This Class A CDL driving position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience, a good driving record, and references from previous employers. The duties involved in this position are driving to several assigned stops, tailgating the door units for offload, and ensuring that all paperwork is in order and processed properly, essentially making each stop as quick and efficient as possible. Good communication skills are required with both our customers and our scheduling office. Pre and post trip inspections are performed on every trip. Expect to have a layover approximately once a week. Must be able to – Lift and maneuver interior and exterior units with proper technique to the rear of the truck Work in seasonal temperatures. Drive in winter conditions without issue. Work safely and efficiently within the company's safety and guideline standards Maintain a clean, tidy workspace to ensure safety Work overtime, approximately 50 hours weekly Read and interpret paperwork to ensure loading accuracy Be willing to perform other assigned tasks.
