Requirements

  • A Class A CDL license is required
  • At least 1 year of driving experience is preferred

  • Detail-focused: Pays close attention to load security, maintenance checks, and delivery records.

Responsibilities

  • Haul logs, lumber, and related forestry products from logging sites to mills, storage yards, or distribution centers.
  • Secure & balance loads using chains, straps, or binders in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Operate tractor-trailers and load/unload using a knuckle boom.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and records while following DOT and company policies.
  • Report & perform basic maintenance checks such as fluids, tires, brakes, and lights.
  • Follow all safety protocols in logging areas, including PPE use, safe driving, and environmental guidelines.
  • Coordinate with logging crews and the dispatcher to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
  • Work full-time hours Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00 am and ending between 4:00 & 5:00 pm, with travel kept within a two-hour radius.
