The truck driver prepares and performs deliveries as needed.
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: At least one year of driving experience required.
Licenses: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with tanker endorsement required.
Nice To Haves
Experience driving a Pneumatic & Liquid Tanker a plus.
Experience driving manual transmission preferred.
Knowledge of electronic logs a plus.
Basic reading, writing, and communication skills required.
The ability to independently solve problems and work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Perform and document pre-trip and DOT inspections of equipment and work area.
Perform housekeeping and cleanup work area to maintain cleanliness of assigned and designated area.
Perform and document equipment operational inspections, make minor adjustments and repairs, and write Work Requests and Emergency Work Orders as necessary.
Work and coordinate with supervisors, crew leads, and other employees to strive for continuous improvements, safety and operational efficiency.
Drivers will be required to operate vehicles up to 11 hours a day and work as many as 14 hours a day.
The ability to understand and comply with DOT guidelines.
Always use PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, full body harness, and steel toed boots).
Employees are expected to perform other responsibilities as needed.
