At Peachey Logging, we specialize in professional timber harvesting, focusing on safety, stewardship, and integrity. What You'll Do as a Class A CDL Driver: Haul logs, lumber, and related forestry products from logging sites to mills, storage yards, or distribution centers. Secure & balance loads using chains, straps, or binders in compliance with safety regulations. Operate tractor-trailers and load/unload using a knuckle boom. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records while following DOT and company policies. Report & perform basic maintenance checks such as fluids, tires, brakes, and lights. Follow all safety protocols in logging areas, including PPE use, safe driving, and environmental guidelines. Coordinate with logging crews and the dispatcher to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Work full-time hours Monday through Friday, 10 – 12-hour days with paid overtime and travel kept within a two-hour radius. Our Ideal Class A CDL Driver: Experienced: A Class A CDL license is required, and at least 1 year of driving experience is preferred.
