The CDL Class A Truck Driver is responsible for providing exceptional service by delivering and picking up stock in a timely and safe manner. This role involves working within a team to ensure on-time delivery, maintaining a clean driving record, and adhering to all safety regulations. The driver will also assist with various warehouse duties as needed.

  • Transport goods and supplies onsite and offsite according to established procedures.
  • Visually inspect loaded trucks to ensure proper packaging and loading to avoid damages during transportation.
  • Report all defects or equipment problems to the supervisor.
  • Work according to an assigned schedule.
  • Provide professional and courteous interactions with customers to ensure a positive experience.
  • File and retrieve delivery records and monitor inventory quality and quantity.
  • Follow mandatory work instructions to safeguard the environment and wellbeing of oneself and others.
  • Report any problems or issues with facilities and customers.
  • Operate various equipment and machines to achieve efficiency.
  • Assist with warehouse duties including order filling, loading/unloading of trucks, and wrapping.
  • Must have a valid Class A CDL.
  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • 12+ months driving experience compliant with all regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and customer relations skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Hazmat endorsement preferred and required within the first six weeks of hire.
  • Liftgate experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with a computerized warehouse system preferred.
